Wookey Hole Caves is located on the Southern edge of the Mendip Hills near Wells in Somerset, England. The archaeologist finds indicates man has lives in the caves for 50, 000 years. This caves was formed by the action of the River Axe on the limestone hills. The water started from the underground streams and passes through other caves such as Swildon’s Holes and St. Cuthbert’s Swallet before it enter Wookey itself. However, it said that the waters of the River Axe are used in a handmade paper mills which began operation in 1610. For people in ancient times, the cave is safe place to live and according to legend, the cave is a home of the Witch of Wookey Hole.







The Roman Baths complex is a site of historical interest in the English city of Bath. The complex is a very well-preserved Roman site of public bathing. The Roman Baths themselves are below the modern street level and has four main features, the Sacred Spring, the Roman Temple, the Roman Bath House and the Museum holding finds from Roman Bath. The buildings above street level date from the 19th century.
